LOCAL

Strawberry Fair

The festival is normally the 1st Saturday in June, it takes place on midsummers common in Cambridge. It is a large field in the centre of Cambridge. The festival has so many things going on such as:
- Beer Tent
- Music Stages with bands from the local areas
- All different types of food and drinks.
- Many stalls with all different types of goods [clothes, art, hand crafted and jewelry]

The target audience can range from very young people to a lot older 'hippys', families and friends enjoy the day and night event. Different types of music such as indie/rock to reggae. The stalls have all sorts of things and all different genres.

It is funded by the local council how ever this year they pulled out and the event is not on, so this year they are asking for donations to help the festival be there next year.

Strawberry Fair is a free volunteer run community music, entertainments, arts and crafts fair.
Across the Fair, Strawberry Essence aims to make the site an altogether nicer, happier, more colourful place through static and more imaginative décor, and wandering entertainment.

So they basically want to give the area some big vibe and an exciting event.
